Imagine this: The sun sparkles off the waves, laughter rings across the water, and boats of all shapes and sizes gather for a day packed with excitement, music, and camaraderie. This isn’t just any Saturday—it’s Shake the Lake, where every moment is a celebration of life, community, and connection.

Whether captaining your boat, rallying your crew, or cheering from the shore, you’ll be swept up in pure fun on Saturday, July 11th, with scenic stops, live bands and DJs, and the thrill of the charity poker run.

Shake the Lake is more than a day on the water—it’s a heartfelt tribute to Shawn and Brian, two incredible men whose legacy lives on through laughter, friendship, and giving back. Every boat, every hand, every cheer helps support local causes and keeps their spirit alive.

Register as a Captain and bring your boat to the party—or join as a participant and hop aboard with friends. Captains register their boats first, then participants sign up to join their captain’s crew. Registration is $175 per participant.

The route is yours to design: Start outside the Belle River Channel, line up by speed class, and get ready for the 11:00 a.m. horn. From there, choose your own adventure by stopping at five out of seven lively locations to collect your poker chips, which finishes at Sandbar Waterfront Grill.

Stops include a cottage at Mitchell’s Bay, Dock & Vine Restaurant at Lighthouse Cove

Barge at Ruscom / Deerbrook Channel with the Slim Pickerel Band, Sandbar Waterfront Grill at Puce River, Barge at Pike Creek with DJ Mele, Harbour House Restaurant, Windsor Marina or Windsor Yacht Club.

As the sun sets, the celebration continues with a delicious dinner, live music, dancing, and plenty of chances to win amazing prizes. This event is open to all watercraft – pontoons, speed boats and PWCs and includes: official poker hand, swag bag, dockside hospitality at select stops, and entry to the dinner and after-party (19+).

Charities include: Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, Community Support Centre of Essex County, Tilbury Lions Club and others.
