The Town of Essex has announced the naming partners for its new outdoor amphitheatre in Heritage Park, a project made possible through major community‑focused investments from ENWIN Utilities Ltd. and the Essex Centre BIA.

ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is the project’s primary naming rights sponsor, providing a significant contribution toward the development of the venue. In recognition of this support, the facility will be officially named the ENWIN Amphitheatre, highlighting the utility’s commitment to building vibrant, connected public spaces that bring residents and visitors together.

The Essex Centre BIA has also invested in the project, earning naming rights for the performance area. The stage will be known as the Essex Centre BIA Main Stage, reflecting the organization’s longstanding efforts to strengthen Essex Centre as a welcoming destination for businesses, residents and visitors.

Together, the two contributions fully fund construction of the amphitheatre, creating a permanent outdoor venue designed to host concerts, festivals, cultural programming and community events in the heart of Essex Centre.

“This project represents what can be accomplished when community partners share a vision for the future,” said the Mayor of Essex. “ENWIN Utilities’ leadership investment, combined with the Essex Centre BIA’s commitment to our downtown, has made this exciting new community asset possible.”

“The BIA name on that stage represents the 200-plus businesses in Essex Centre,” said Stephanie Winger, Chair of the Essex Centre BIA. “When people come to Essex for a concert or festival, they discover the shops, restaurants and services that make this a destination worth returning to.”

The amphitheatre is being built within Heritage Park, next to the Essex Train Station, and is intended to enhance the park as a community gathering space while supporting local tourism and event programming.

The Town of Essex expressed appreciation to ENWIN Utilities and the Essex Centre BIA for their investments, noting that the project reflects a shared commitment to creating public spaces that will benefit the community for generations.
