The H2Oasis Aquatic Centre at the Vollmer Centre will be temporarily closed for its annual maintenance from Monday, September 7 through Friday, October 2, 2026.
The closure will affect the indoor pool, sauna, and spa, as staff carry out essential maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains safe and efficient for public use. The facility is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
During this period, staff will service and replace equipment, clean and inspect the pool liner, and perform tile repairs. Town officials thank residents for their patience and cooperation throughout the closure, emphasizing that the maintenance is vital for maintaining a comfortable and enjoyable aquatic environment.
To accommodate residents and maintain access to aquatic programming, the LaSalle Outdoor Pool at Front Road and Laurier Drive will remain open—weather permitting—until Friday, October 2. However, the outdoor pool will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of the Labour Day holiday.
Free recreational swims, sponsored by Essex Powerlines and Pathway to Potential, will be available every Saturday in September (September 5, 12, 19, and 26) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Registration is strongly recommended to guarantee a spot, but walk-ins will also be accepted if space allows.
In addition, adult drop-in length swims and aqua fitness classes will continue Monday through Friday in both the deep and shallow ends of the outdoor pool throughout September. Registration is recommended for all programs, and you can find up-to-date schedules and details on the Outdoor Pool web page.
The Town of LaSalle appreciates the community’s understanding as these important maintenance activities are completed, aiming to provide a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for all.
